Maps for Mac
When I try to open Maps on my MacBook Pro, it no longer works. I just get a dialog box that says "The application 'Maps' is not open anymore." What is going on? How can I fix it?

Try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort anomalies.
Reboot as normal and compare your results.
