I watching a recoded show through Hulu, is there a way to fast forward with the apple remote?

The guide below (1-2-3) is generic for Apple TV. Hulu may place additional restrictions within their service, e.g. some apps may have unskippable ads. Some apps use their own video player instead of the default Apple TV video player, which also may limit fast forward functionality somewhat.
