why do i have two files folders on my ipad pro?
Presumably you refer to Files App icon - which may be have been duplicated on your Home Screen.
Simply remove the duplicate from your Home Screen; touch-and-hold the App icon - and select Delete from the Action Menu. If both Files icons are deleted from the Home Screen, restart your iPad - and then re-add the Files App to a Screen from the App Library:
