disconnect external trackpad

I work with a Mac-mini and macbook pro next to each other. The Mac-mini has a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad. Both of them connect automatically to the macbook laptop as well, something which is not desired. I have made sure none of them are connected by bluetooth to the laptop, but it keeps connecting (so for example if I move the mouse to the extreme left of my desktop screen it will continue to the laptop screen).

So would like to ask if there is a way to make the laptop not connect to these external accessories.

Thanks

Maybe it's Universal Control
