Numbered grid overlay
Since update to iOS 16 voice control overlay no longer works. When in the settings, selected “numbered grid” which appears and promptly disappears.

Let's disable Voice Control, restart your device and enable it again:
"How to turn on Voice Control
- Go to Settings and select Accessibility.
- Select Voice Control, then select Set up Voice Control. A download will begin in the background.
When the download is complete, a microphone 
will appear in the status bar of your device that indicates that Voice Control is listening or not listening."

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? What is your exact iPadOS version? Do the other commands using voice control work as expected? Also, when did you first notice this?
