I recently found an old (10 years or more) Apple remote. I have no idea what it came with or what it controlled. I tried Music, Keynote, and PPT. Any ideas are much appreciated, just curious. Any ideas? Thanks!

That remote came with an old iMac or a 1st gen. Apple TV.
You used to be able to control all the suspects you mentioned, but it required that the Mac have an infrared port, which they don't anymore.
I still have 2 in the drawer from previously owned Early 2006 Intel iMac’s. They also worked to control iTunes for a 2010 Mac mini and a 2011 Mac mini that had IR sensors.

have on got it with appletv1g could use it with my imac2011 which came with it's own alu one that later appletvs came with, they still sort of work with my appletv4k
