Not able to add card in wallet for apple pay

First, check ▶︎ System Status for possible service outages.

If everything looks good, then click ▶︎ Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet for detailed instructions.

If that doesn’t work, then try linking the payment method:

Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & Shipping ➢ Add Payment Method.

Once the payment method has been added, you should have the option to link it to Apple Pay.

Having the same issue, several calls to the bank, Apple and also Visa. Now ny bank are saying it’s a known synchronisation issue with Wallet and is being worked on. Been trying for 3 days now and still not working.

Have you tried by going to settings>wallet and Apple Pay> tap add card in blue? Are you on the latest software version?
