Reset password issue

I am having issues resetting my forgotten Apple ID password.

I was able to authenticate using my phone number - but unable to authenticate my iPhone passcode.

I try resetting my passcode .. try hard reboot .. nothing worked.

I need help in resetting my password. Not sure what other options I have.

apple wants to send a code at my email I’d which is the same I’d which password I need to reset.

please let me know if there is a workaround to this issue.
