Refund

I bought a subscription by accident and I got a refund the following day, how long will it take for the money to reflect on my credit card?. I hope it takes less than 4 business days

Hi fanwell,

Read this about refunds.

After you request a refund you'll receive a status update by email within 48 hours. If your request is granted, the money is returned to the payment method you used. The time it takes for the money to appear on your account or statement depends on the payment method:

- Store credit (e.g., Apple ID balance): up to 48 hours

- Mobile phone billing (payment through your phone service carrier): Up to 60 days

- Other payment methods (e.g., credit/debit card): Up to 30 days for it to appear on a statement. You can check your card other ways and see if it appears earlier.

For apps and media you can also sign into https://reportaproblem.apple.com to check if the status of your item is "Refunded".

I have never needed to ask for a refund. I note that the document says "to appear on a statement" which makes me think if you wait around for your monthly bill to appear in your mailbox it may take a month, but if you were to actively check your card account every other day or so it may actually appear sooner.
