Screen recording not saved

Learn how to create a screen recording and capture sound on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

How to record your screen

1. Go to Settings > Control Center, then tap the Add button  next to Screen Recording.
2. Open Control Center on your iPhone, or on your iPad.
3. Tap the gray Record button , then wait for the three-second countown.
4. Exit Control Center to record your screen.
5. To stop recording, open Control Center, then tap the red Record button . Or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.

Go to the Photos app and select your screen recording.

Some apps might not allow you to record audio or video. You can't record your screen and use screen mirroring at the same time."

If so, can you provide a few more details? Which iOS version do you currently have installed? When did you first notice this? Also, Does this happen with short and long screen recordings?

Thank you for clarifying.

Let's try to restart your device and test:

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."
