Logic Pro 10.4.8 freezing up at start up

My Logic Pro 10.4.8 running on iMac 10.13.6 High Sierra is freezing at start up. I didn't update anything and didn't buy any new plug ins. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have uninstalled all of the third party plug ins from the components folder and re introduced them one by one, even made sure certain waves, Arturia, and other apps are the proper compatible versions for my system. I've gotten Logic to at least open but it takes anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes with the pinwheel/beachball spinning to do it. Seems Logic still doesn't like something.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Still a problem???

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?
