Screen Mirroring IOS 16

Screen mirroring to my Samsung TV has stopped working for all 4 phones in my household since IOS 16.1.1 update. Tried every fix suggested that I could find. Now what?

Hello A1YODA,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with screen mirroring. Have you tried restarting your iPhone? This simple step resolves a multitude of issues: Restart iPhone

"How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12, 13, or later

Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

If that doesn't resolve the issue, does your iPhone need updating to iOS 16.2? Do you have a recent backup for the data in your iPhone in iCloud or your computer? If not, we recommend that you create one as described here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Then update your iOS as outlined here: Update your iPhone or iPad

We hope this helps.

Cheers!

I have cycled all 4 phones off/on. All phones have the latest updates. The firmware on my TV and router is up to date. They have all been power cycled. Networks are correct. Every other “easy” fix I could find has been tried. I know 5 other people having the same issue since the first update to IOS 16 and later. I looked for the last IOS 15 released to try and go back to that but all I could find is IOS 16 and on. With my 4 phones and knowing 5 other people personally with the same problem plus others online. Seems like a bug in the update that needs to be fixed.
