Hi, there's no backspace button on the numeric keyboard that shows up when I'm prompted for the phone's passcode. Sometimes I type the wrong digit, and there's no way to "undo". The only workaround is to continue typing to fill the entire passcode length and have the phone reject the wrong password and reset the input query. This is extremely annoying. What am I missing?
Answering self: the backspace button in not a graphical button but a text option at the bottom, it's called "cancel" until it becomes "delete" when one starts typing. Am i the only one who finds shape-shifting UI confusing?

Tap the Delete button; it removes one digit at a time:
It is confusing, why isn’t it just a back arrow like backspace is everywhere else. As another user like you I can’t answer that question.
