How Do I Put a .numbers File on my Home Screen?

1. Use the Shortcuts app to create a shortcut that opens your spreadsheet in Numbers
2. Once it is made, press and hold on it
3. Choose Details from the menu that pops up
4. Choose to add it to the home screen
5. Move it to the screen you desire it to be on

There are a few intermediate steps/details in all that. That's the gist of it.

Step 1 in more detail is:

1. When in Shortcuts app, click on the tab for Apps (vs Categories).
2. Scroll down to the Numbers app icon, click on it, and choose "Open Spreadsheet".
3. Click where it says "numbers spreadsheet" and choose the one you want to open.
4. At the top of the screen where it says "open Spreadsheet", click on that and rename your shortcut.

Mine started up at a different place in the app. Click the + at the top right of the screen. At the next screen click "add action". Then you should be at the screen I started at, where you can click on "Apps" and so on.
