If your iPad is disabled, or:

If you’ve forgotten your iPad passcode – Apple Support

and if your iPad OS is earlier than 15.2

you may need to use a computer

or

If you are able to access the iPad .... this is possible without a computer

How to factory reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

or

for iPadOS 15.2 or later: you may be able to use your Apple ID:
