Set sound alert when battery is full

Hi,

I've only switched to Mac a few months ago and I keep running into things I could easily do on Windows but - seemingly - not on MacOS. One of them is to determine per program/app/action whether I want sound notifications or not.

I'd love to get a sound notification (not just a popup notification) when the battery is charged so I can unplug the laptop. There doesn't seem to be any way to do this?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.0

Apple Laptop do not present an overt Notification, be it from Notification Centre or via an Audible Sound when the battery is fully charged

One can add the Battery to the Menu Bar and quick see the charging and when the battery has reached Full Charge

The battery status menu   in the menu bar shows how much charge your battery has, whether it's currently charging, and whether your display or any apps are using significant energy.

Well, since I joined the Apple Eco-System back in 2004 running OS X Tiger version 10.4 and I had an Apple Laptop - this requested feature has never existed.

That would mean, 19 years of Apple Computers and about 14 different versions of OS X / macOS including macOS Ventura 13.1

So it is suggested the user ( you ) arrive at your own conclusions and or as perviously suggested >>

Request Apple Re-Write the Entire Operating System to Add this unique feature

Which, in this case Monterey 12.6.2 , will probably only receive Security Updates henceforth.

A feature introduced into Big Sur & Monterey and Ventura was to preserve the number of Full Battery Cycles - there was an Algorithm coded into the macOS. It is perfectly Normal for Big Sur , Monterey, Ventura to Pause / Suspend charging the battery beyond 80% and hold it at that level. One can nudge / over-ride this by clicking the Battery Icon on Desktop Top Bar and allow charging beyond 80%. From observations, it will Pause / Suspend again once reading 90%. Same procedure to over-ride and will charge to 100%

I know and I have that but that's completely useless when I'm not on my laptop.

Then have a suggestion ;

want to hear when the battery is full when I'm not on the laptop so I can disconnect the cable.

Sorry, but to hear the sound while in another room , if it were possible, would require the Owner of the device to come back into the room, as you have said, to disconnect the charger - right ?

So how this become " completely useless when I'm not on my laptop. " since the User has come back to computer to disconnect from charger ?

Care to elaborate
