You may connect an AirPlay-enabled streaming device to the TV, such as an Apple TV box or a Roku.
Then that will receive AirPlay streams and display them on TV.
I’m concerned that a Roku or Apple Airplay device on my old TV will interfere/confuse my Smart TV. Both are working through the same Xfinity modem.

Roku set up went well due to grandson’s skills. Took about 45 minutes to do all login’s and choosing options. Thank you. We now can have Air-play on our older TV.
