Apple Pencil (1st gen) line texture in Notes app for iPad OS 16 missing.

Is there a way to get this line texture back in Notes? It is a subtle texture but I noticed it disappeared in the iPad OS 16 update. This texture made scribbling or sketching feel more natural like using a real pencil but now the lines all look like like ink writing/drawing.

The new line texture is just cold and utterly bare. I don't use the Apple Pencil anymore and every time I go back to it I remember you can only do plain lines now.
