Screen crack : MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)

The screen has been damaged due to an "internal crack".

We had to pay to replace it as the one-year warranty was expired.

There was no apparent reason to the crack.

Did anyone experience similar issues with MacBook Pro 13-inch M1 or M2 ?

Thanks

I would not buy a new Mac today with out factoring in the extended AppleCare+ warranty.

This also gives you the option to extend the warranty when the initial 3 yrs is over

If you have AppleCare+ it will cover a large portion of accidental damage.

AppleCare Products - Mac - Apple

Purchase the new coverage within 30 days after your original Applecare+ coverage ends.
