In-app purchases & Apple funds

will in-app purchases come off Apple funds instead of family. My child has Apple funds and she wants to buy in game currency.

Purchase from child account i have the ask for buy feature enabled for my child and he made a purchase for in app. I have approved his request but it is directing him to payment method and asking for credit card security verification. Shouldn’t this fund being taken directly from me as family organizer?

Help with managing payment methods with App Store Can someone tell me how to change the payment method when purchasing from iTunes or the App Store? I have the family sharing plan but my son wants to use his own debit card to make a purchase. Is he not able to do that as long as he’s on the fam plan?
