I pad to Toshiba TV screen mirroring.

Hi, any advice on screen mirroring from my iPad to a Toshiba TV, as they are non compatible. I believe there are apps than can do it.

Does your TV have an HDMI input? If so, you can easily connect an iPad to your TV.


If your iPad has a Lightning connector, you’ll need an Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter:

If instead your iPad is recent model with a USB-C connector, you might choose an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter:

https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MUF82ZM/A


Many third-party USB-C hubs and adapters also incorporate an HDMI port, although very few support HDCP - which may be required to display copy-protected High Definition video.


Another alternative is to invest in an AppleTV box - and connect this via HDMI to your TV. You’ll then have the ability to wirelessly connect to your TV via the AppleTV box, or use video streaming directly from the AppleTV itself:
