numbers question

Does anyone know how to easily convert clock in/out times to total hours & minutes? For example, if I clocked in to a job at 8:57 AM and clocked out at 11:23 - I am looking for a way to convert this to hours and minutes (2.26 or 2 hours & 26 minutes). TIA!

You can try this:

Line 2 gives result in Duration hours and minutes.

Line 3 gives result in decimal hours for use in multiplication by hourly rate, etc.

If you haven't done so already be sure to have a look at the templates at File > New in your menu. The 'Employee Schedule' template in particular may give you ideas on how to accomplish what you are trying to do.
