My Apple Pencil is working intermittently with Procreate on my iPad (6th gen). It works in "Freeform". Drawing with my finger works in Procreate. When the pencil does work, the line or object lags behind the gesture of the pencil.

I’m afraid that’s something you’ll need to take up with Procreate. The burden is on apps to be compatible with apple not the other way around.
