I want to produce a 2d stacked bar graph in Numbers which shows two sets of data, on the same bar.

I can do this if the chart is on the same sheet as the data, but when I do the same but on a different sheet to the data, I get two separate bars. Screenshots attached.


I have done this in the past, but can't remember how I achieved it!


Any ideas gratefully received . . .

Click on the chart. At the bottom left of the Numbers window it will say "plot rows as series" or "plot columns as series". Change it to match the layout of the data in your table.
