So bought a new Apple Watch series 8 and traded in my Series 5 for some trade in value, im now thinking of just returning the new Seires 8 since I really don’t need it, but i traded my old series 5 in, what happens next? Do I get credit of the my card? A gift card? Or cash?

Call Apple (if in the US) at: 800-MY-APPLE and ask them how they'll handle the trade value if you return your new watch. And if you do return the new watch, it MUST be returned in the original packaging, including all accessories (band, charger, etc.).
Yeah today is my 5th day owning the new watch, my concern is, when I return my new Apple Watch 8, how would I get the value of the Apple Watch 5 I traded in to get the 8th
