Can't sync Charter/Spectrum email among Apple devices

I have three Apple devices, laptop, iPad and iPhone. I am unable to sync Charter/Spectrum email among all three which means whatever I delete on one, it has to be individually deleted on all three. Apple says it's a Charter/Spectrum problem and Charter/Spectrum says it's an Apple problem. Any suggestions?

It would help if you can figure out who "someone" is - obviously Charter. FWIW, you should be able to access Charter using a browser from anywhere as long as they are your provider at home (and you have an active account).


As for syncing, it could be an easy fix of changing a setting: for instance, I do not allow any automatic downloads; instead, I manually hit the "get mail" button and, at that point, all emails appear. This works on all my devices. But they do not automatically download to my Macbook Air when I download the mail on my iMac. They do when I manually check on the Macbook Air.

Thank you for a quick response but this doesn't help. I'm using the Apple Mail app on all devices. Charter tells me that as long as I can access their emails through a browser on their website, then it is Apple's problem. The trouble began last year when I was out of the country and couldn't access Charter. Someone reconfigured some of the settings on Charter mail and that's when the problem began. I can access all emails through the Apple Mail app...they just don't sync among all three devices.

As " Spectrum " mentions, they are using the IMAP protocol .


Therefore what every is reflected on the Spectrum Mail Servers should be reflected on ALL Devices using the same e-mail Setup


One of the Oldest Ploys used by Many is to Blame the Operating System that is under sicusssion especially when it comes to macOS.


This is my personal opinion - it is because they do not what to spend time Learning macOS as it does not generate $$ to their Botton-line .
