Some audio tracks can no longer be expanded.

Hey, please have a quick look at the numbered pictures below. 🙂

Description:

1) Double-clicking the sound of the yellow clip expands the audio track in the timeline as usual.

2) The green line, on the other hand, is an FCPX sound effect that is only displayed as a waveform in the Inspector. In the timeline, even after double-clicking, only the green line is visible.

3) Double clicking the red clips audio track shows the waveform only in the Inspector. In the timeline I only get this red line.

Question:

I know FCPX only as in point 1. This project was not different at first. ... Why does the program suddenly behave as in points 2 & 3 and how can I influence this? ... I want to have my waveforms back in the timeline. 😃

Thank you for reading.

Open the Timeline Inspector (command-shift-2) and make sure that you are not selecting a specific audio role.
