Quality hi-res lossless audio drops during playback

Hello, I play hi-res lossless apple music on mac mini M1. I use a high-speed fiber-optic Internet connection with stable performance. However, I often have a problem, namely, the quality of the played sound suddenly drops drastically, the music continues to play, but changes from full sound to flat, as if much lower quality streaming. Nowhere does it show any information that something has changed, the song just flies on. If I fast forward to the next song, or play the same song from the beginning, the quality is high again, but after some time with subsequent songs the problem repeats. This is terribly annoying and happens quite often.

I should add that the problem also occurs on the second device, the MacBook Pro. Sometimes I play music from Apple TV, there I did not notice this problem, but I use it much less often. How to remedy this?

I think that if it was a network problem, it would also occur on apple tv where I also sometimes listen to music, yesterday I even did it for a few hours, the problem did not appear even for a moment, where previously on the computer occurred at least twice.

Well nothing, will contact apple support. I was hoping that someone may have had a similar problem and I can find a solution here.

Thanks for the answers.

Hey there Javorek,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to provide some assistance.

Does this occur with all songs or specific songs or all songs? This will help us isolate the problem.

Let's make sure your device is up-to-date. If it is updated, let's restart your device. Restarting your device and making sure it is updated can resolve many unexpected issues.

Hi, of course everything is updated :). Hardly, the problem persists despite several subsequent updates that have taken place since I noticed it, and it was actually quite a long time ago, it will soon be a year since I first noticed it, in fact not long after I started using apple music. Before that I used spotify and there were no such situations, moreover I still have spotify and sometimes use it, there everything is ok. As for the songs, the problem occurs randomly, it is not that it always occurs in the same place. E.g. when I listen to a song in which the problem occurs, and at the moment of its occurrence, I play the song from the beginning then for its entire length it plays ok, but a few songs further it occurs again. I also mentioned that I experienced this problem on another device so I suspected the internet connection, but it is stable and has a very high speed. Besides, it seems to me that the problem with the connection would not manifest itself in this way, because I think the whole song is buffered at the start of playback, so the problem would not occur, for example, in the middle of the song as it does now.
