Email stopped syncing between devices

To fix this, I want to delete my email acct then add new email acct. But device tells me it will also delete contacts, calendars and notes at same time. Is that right? And if I do this, will contacts, calendars and notes all be reloaded automatically when I add new email acct?

Just to be clear, if you wish to delete your email account from your iPad, this is removed from the Mail settings page:

Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Your email account] > Delete Account


If your email service also supports Contacts, Calendars and Notes (e.g., Google Mail), these will also be removed from your iPad when the Mail account is deleted from your iPad. The account deletion process should only delete the local copy of this information - leaving this data on your email provider’s mail server.


If you subsequently re-add the account, both your mail and associated Contacts/Calendars/Notes should still be available to download fresh copies of the data.
