Can't see "review large attachments" for Messages in iOS 16.2 on iPhone 13

All the help articles and discussions say "Settings" "general" "iphone storage" "messages" and then there will be an option "review large attachments"

It simply does not exist.

How do I enable this?

Hi there adolfgarlic,

There isn't a 'Review Large Attachments' option for your Messages storage on your iPhone. When you go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Messages, you should see a list that includes Top Conversations, Photos, Videos, GIFs and Stickers, and Other. You can tap on each category from there to review your Messages attachments. Learn more about checking your iPhone storage here: How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad - Apple Support

Also, you can find specific attachments from conversations in Messages with these steps:

Find attachments from a conversation
1. Open the message.
2. Tap the name of the contact at the top of the message. If you're using iOS 14 or earlier, or iPadOS, tap the Info button .
3. You'll see Photos, Links, Documents, and more. Touch and hold an image or attachment to show options like Save, Copy, Share, and Delete.
From your conversations page in iOS 16.2 and later, you can also search to find photos in Messages based on their content, like a dog, car, person, or text.

You'll find this information here: Use Messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Take care.
