iMac as a second screen
I want to use my iMac as a second screen with my MacBook Pro.
iMac is running High Sierra, MacBook Pro Monterey
hHave connected the 2 using Thunderbolt/HMDI to an HDMI/USBC.
iMac does not see MacBook.

Both your iMac and your MacBook must be old enough for this to work.

thank you! Computer are 2011 and 2019 - so should be good.
second question. Articles says use thunderbolt to connect the MacBook only has USBC - can I use HMDI to USBC?
Carefully read the link provided by MrHoffman.
The controlling Mac must be running macOS Catalina or earlier. Monterey is a disqualifier.
