My IPhone X is suddenly unable to send text messages or responses to non Apple devices. I recently updated my software and noticed this issue shortly thereafter. How do I fix this?

SMS/MMS is a phone carrier feature, contact your to resolve the issue. If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
