No access to the internet with WiFi (MacOS Ventura)

Hi,

My MacBook has no access to the internet through my WiFi router but it is connected to the WiFi network.

It is a MacBook 2020 with an Intel processor and the OS used is macOS Ventura 13.1.

My VPN is connected and running.

Could you help me ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Patrick.

Are you sure it isn't your VPN causing it? Disable the VPN and see if you can get to the Internet.

I don't know if your VPN alters the following settings, but here is what they should look like.

Go into the Wi-Fi settings, Details button.

Select the DNS tab.

There should be one grayed out entry in there and it should be the address of the router.

If there are more, delete them.

If that is good, look at the Proxies tab. Should be empty.
