iPhone 14 voicemail notifications

I have an Iphone14 and I don’t receive notifications that I have a voicemail. I have tried various things posted by others but still no luck. Is there a glitch on Apples end? How do I resolve this issu?

When someone leaves a voicemail, you will receive a text message from your carrier.

The voicemail settings are controlled by the carrier, so contact your carrier.
