This is Apple. Its a shame the only place to find this out was Virus Total. There is zero about Apple/Southfront connection. I am happy this was not a redirect by malware. My only question is out of all of my Apple devices, a MacBook , iMac, iPad Pro, iPhone, watch, HomePod, why did only my iMac connect to this IP and pretty much everything was coming from this IP, I could not even download Mac OS while I was blocking this IP. If anyone else experiences this its Apple.

what ip range one gets locally is up to the dhcp server in ones router Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol - Wikipedia

what ip one gets on the internet is up to the isp one uses they each get a range to distribute between their customers

you can see which one you have currently assigned on pages like this What Is My IP? Shows Your Public IP Address - IPv4 - IPv6

if one uses a vpn one gets a public ip of the vpn server one connects to range
