I can’t find in my settings personal hotspot. What do I do?

If you don’t see Personal Hotspot as the 3rd item when you tap Settings, then Cellular (Mobile Data in some regions) that means that your carrier has not enabled it on your account. Contact the carrier.

The hotspot option is a feature that is offered (or may not be offered) by your carrier. Not all carriers offer this option.

In some cases where the feature is not offered on a basic plan, it can be added for an additional fee.

Check with your carrier to see if they offer a hotspot option.

The iPhone will display and can only display the information that your carrier is sending to your phone.

If you have already powered off the phone, waited a minute, then powered the phone back up and the hotspot option is not appearing, you need to contact the carrier so they can check things from their end.

On some carrier plans, if you are over your data limit, the hotspot option is not available.

Since Personal Hotspot is a specific cellular carrier service/feature, contact them and check if they offer that service.
