For the past several weeks, my Safari home screen's favorite icons aren't just gray...they're blank. I thought the latest update would address this issue, but it didn't. How do I fix this? It's annoying to try to read the little text to actually use this feature.

It should have. Run Software Update again: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support. The update fixed it on my Macs so things may have changed since yesterday.

It should have. Run Software Update again: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support. The update fixed it on my Macs so things may have changed since yesterday.
It was odd in the fact Software Update reported "Some updates could not be installed" and the one that wasn't was for Safari. So it was necessary to run it twice, at least on this Mac. Haven't tried the others yet.
It updated (again) today, and now it's fixed. Strange!
