numbers not syncing across devices

Hi thee. All devices are up to date, but increasingly since Ventura 13 apps are not syncing. This happened with Notes, Pages and now Numbers, which is taking a lot of time and has caused errors. I'm not impressed. Any ideas? Checked all the basics.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.2

What are the "all the basics" you have checked?

Have you tried?

making sure you have updated to the latest macOS (current Ventura 13.2.1 and iPadOS 16.3.1)
signing out of iCloud on all your devices and then back in again
powering down all your devices completely and then restarting them

Thank you for your reply. Yes to all that, there’s still a delay of 5m or more and when it asks which version to save, it doesn’t actually do it. Also when asked to show syncing activity it doesn’t pick up on that either. Driving me crazy!!
