I gave my daughter my iPhone 12 pro plus. We reset the phone but having issues getting the esim to load. It Keep saying error while downloading

Thank you, from the help of the service provider I learned that the previous sim card had to be removed and the 2 existing sims had to be deleted prior to installing the new esim. Previos to performing these tasks, when loading the new esim it would error with a code but no explanation. Hope this helps someone in the future.
