iphone photo issues

I recently switched from Android to Apple. I am a big photo person and like my photos organized. With iphone, you can make an album but they are still in recents folder they I try to hide them they disappear from all of my albums. I don't know which ones are in albums or not.

My galaxy phone I was able to organize photos in an album-without any of this headache!

Then if I try to transfer to an external, all of my photos are together which makes it difficult to sort in folders. There is not shortcut to cut and paste, or select rows at a time. Very time consuming! I know they are in the cloud but I choose to put on an external also.

With all the technology from Apple- you could do better!!!
