Tab order by subject alphabetically or website is hopeless

On Safari my tabs were automatically arranged by the date I first opened them. Easy to find them. Recently that became alphabetical by subject (lots starting with "the") without my doing anything. How do I get back to the date order? I do NOT want alphabetical, either by website or first word.

Hello Alix-14,

If you have recently set up Tab Groups in Safari on your iPhone you may have inadvertently rearranged your tabs in Safari. Check out the information on this page to learn more. Organize your tabs with Tab Groups in Safari on iPhone - Apple Support. As it shows, you have the option of reordering tabs in a Tab Group. Check out this information from the section labeled 'Reorder tabs in a Tab Group':

1. Tap the Tabs button to view the open tabs in that Tab Group.
2. Touch and hold any tab.
3. In the menu that appears, tap Arrange Tabs By, then choose an option.
Or, just drag the tab to where you want it.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
