You can't. The 6 maxes out at its current 12.5.7 version of iOS.
A 6s or better is required for iOS 15.x.
iOS 16 requires these models.
An iPhone 6 cannot be upgraded past iOS 15.x.

iPhone 6 cannot go any further than iOS 12.5.7.
If you want to run a higher iOS version, you need a new phone.
