PREVIEW CROPPING

So I'm working in preview against my better judgement and I was hoping to select a bunch of annotations at once with the Rectangular Selection tool. It ended up cropping (in a very bad way) my image and I hit cmd-z and it will not undo!!! But if I use the Magnify tool, I can see the rest of the annotations outside the crop zone.

How do I restore the original page?

How to get rid of the black border when pasting an image on Preview? I use preview to edit images, usually for memes and jokes. Before the update, I could use the lasso tool to simply copy and paste parts of the image with no problem. However, since the update, I can't copy and paste anything with the circle or lasso tool without the pasted product having a black, rectangular border! How do I get rid of said borders?

Why can't I crop out the address at the top of my screenshot? I've been taking a lot of screenshots lately, cropping out the unnecessary stuff, and using what's left. Today I tried this and got the image I wanted, but with the preview tools, "Screenshot 22-02-24" etc. still in the image. I've tried this with several images and it's always the same. I can reduce some of the image content, but still get that bar at the top. Any ideas? Thanks!

Suddenly I don't get a thumbnail when I take a screenshot, how do I get this feature back. I use Command Shift 4 to take a small screenshot, then a thumbnail appears in the lower right corner of the screen and I can right click that for a menu or drag it to another window. Suddenly this feature is gone and it opens a window and wants me to save the image as a file. I don't want to save it as a file, how to I get the thumbnail feature back?
