Hotmail stopped working on my Monterey's Mail, it keeps asking for the password for the account, but doesn't accept it. It works fine on my iPhone's Mail and Outlook app. The password is correct. IMap's settings also seem correct. Is there a fix? I already tried deleting and adding the account.

you may need to use an app-specific password or 2 factor authentication, but contact hotmail or looking at their help site should resolve your issue.
