AirTags won’t connect after updating

I just upgraded to 16.3.1 and now my AirTags aren’t recognized. It says that there’s an unknown AirTag near me and when I get info it says it’s registered to my number. I reset one and am now getting “upgrade your account security. AirTag uses end to end encryption to keep your location information private” I log into my account and nothing happens. I’ve restarted. 2 factor Authentication is on. Why can’t I connect to my AirTags anymore??
