I do not remember my password to my iMac. I have done everything listed online. Does not go into recovery mode when holding down command r, nor does it give me an option to reset password. Any suggestions?

If you have a wireless keyboard, you may have to get a wired USB keyboard (and possibly a USB-C to USB-A adapter) and try to access the recovery mode again.
