LOGIC IS MUFFLING MY AUDIO INPUT

Hello, so I use an interface and a microphone to record my vocals into Logic pro. I have been using the same set-up, for a year and everything has been working well, but yesterday out of nowhere, the vocals started sounding muffled and low quality. I have tried connecting the interface directly to the mac, changing the settings, and other stuff but nothing works to make the vocals crisp again.

The input monitoring inside of the Logic software, used to pick up all noises from tapping on my desk to a door closing, and now it only registers sound when it's right next to the mic and it sounds muffled. I thought it could be the interface or the microphone, but the interface has direct monitoring that lets you hear the mic input directly from the interface and it sounds crispy and high-quality through it, so I believe it has to be that the audio loses its quality because of logic, or maybe my mac. When I listen to the recordings and look at an EQ of them, they are missing all the high end. Somebody please help me.

One advice could be to try another application with recording possibilities, perhaps Garage Band. If you get the same problem there Logic is not the cause. Next step (if it's not Logic) would be to use the microphone and interface on another cpmputer (perhaps you know somebody who can help out?), if the problem is there your microphone or interface is the problem.
