Resetting iPad

my ipad is in recovery mode, but does not show up on my Mac. I have tried rebooting, different cables, same result.

iPad Air stuck in Recovery Mode won’t restore My iPad is stuck in recovery mode with the display showing to connect it to the computer. I’m using my MacBook that’s got the current software to it & the cord that came with the iPad to connect it to the computer. Once the iPad is connected it gives me the option to restore or update I have tried both and it goes through the apple loading symbol on the iPad and then tells me to connect it to the computer again and it says “iPad can’t be updated you must restore yet I have tried but it’s not letting me !! Is my iPad no longer useable ??? Please help
