Stop charging! Check whether there is water either in the charging port or whether the lightning plug is wet. If your iPhone has been exposed to water, then this may also be why you are seeing this warning. Be sure not to connect your iPhone to power until you have determined whether it has been exposed to liquid. You may risk short-circuiting it.
