Why won't my phone backup to Icloud when I have 2.7GB to backup? I get an error "becasue there is not enough ICloud storage available.

I cannot get my iphone to backup to iCloud. Help please?

if it states you don't have enough icloud storage, then you purchase more icloud storage If you can't back up to iCloud - Apple Support
